This category is open to any engineer currently working as an aerodynamicist within the motorsport industry.

If you and your team have developed a breakthrough aerodynamic concept, system, or methodology within the past 12 months that has delivered game-changing innovation or measurable performance advantage, we encourage you to submit your entry today.
📌 General eligibility

You don’t need to be based in a particular country — entries can come from anywhere in the world.

Typically it’s aimed at motorsport engineers, teams, companies, or technical innovators — anyone actively involved in developing engineering innovations for motorsport.
📌 Entry requirements
To enter the award, nominees are expected to:

Have a background in motorsport engineering (a brief CV outlining experience is usually required).

Provide evidence of the positive impact their product has on motorsport engineering.

Submit a written explanation (often around 400 words) describing the product, why it’s innovative, and why it deserves recognition.

Judges look for cutting-edge thinking, technical excellence, and innovations that push the boundaries of performance — whether through advanced simulation, novel aero surfaces, improved airflow management, sustainability-led design, or revolutionary development processes.
